+ typical, fantastic Edgar Wright – quirky editing

+ I love the design – retro feel

+ shows the versatility of Wright as a director

+ script is incredibly well written

+ quirky plot

+ Michael Cera’s awkward performance

+ editing is spectacular

+ cleverly avoids plot holes

+ clever, subtle foreshadowing

+ pee bar

+ clever continuous shots – lounge to bathroom to high school

+ music is very well edited and entertaining

+ superb cinematography

+ hilarious

+ visually stunning

– sometimes design makes it too overwhelming

+ Chris Evans’ satire on action heroes

– sometimes quirkiness is a bit jarring

+ unique fight scenes

+ made Michael Cera an action star – good effort

– drops a little bit due to odd pacing

+ Scott as a character really grows

+ very good lighting

+ well structured – cyclical

+ plot takes some unexpected turns
