As I’m sure many of you know, Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight, the conclusion to their incredible trilogy of Batman video games, comes out on 23rd June, just 5 days from the time of writing. However, I’m sure many of you don’t know that I ADORE Batman: as a character, in comics, in books, in games, and of course, in films. To get excited for the game, I’ve decided to review one Batman film every day for at least the next week, leading to a review of Batman: Arkham Knight. I know that game reviews haven’t really been touched upon here yet, but for a series I feel so passionate about, I’m willing to give it a try. I will be aiming to review at least 7 Batman films, although maybe not the ones you expect, for example, Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy will not be touched upon here – but it is coming soon. These are the films I will be reviewing, and when to expect them:

18 June – Batman (1989) (click here for the review)

19 June – Batman Returns (1992) (click here for the review)

20 June – Batman Forever (1995) (click here for the review)

21 June – Batman and Robin (1997) (click here for the review)

22 June – Son of Batman (2014)

23 June – Batman: Assault on Arkham (2014)

24 June – Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)

25 June – Batman and Mr. Freeze – SubZero (1998)

26 June – The Batman vs. Dracula (2005)

27 June – Batman: Arkham Knight (video-game) (2015)

Once these films (and one game) are reviewed, all that will be left film-wise regarding Batman will be the Dark Knight trilogy, The Dark Knight Returns Part 2Batman: Gotham Knight and Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts, all of which I will try and get around to at some point soon. Since I have already reviewed quite a lot of Batman films on this blog, you may want to refresh your memory, so I will leave links to those reviews here:

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010)

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000)

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part One (2012)

Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman (2003)

Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010)

Batman: Year One (2011)
