Last Wednesday (5th October) marked the day where the first glimpses of Hugh Jackman’s final turn as Wolverine emerged, as the Aussie tweeted out a teaser poster for the third Wolverine solo movie, now confirmed to be called Logan.

Although there’s little to go off, it’s a safe bet to assume this will be a more personal film, taking a look at the man behind the claws, perhaps delving into his backstory in a more satisfying manner than we’ve seen before (looking at you, X-Men Origins: Wolverine).

The poster also seems to show a child holding on to Logan’s hand, which would point towards this lifting heavily from the Old Man Logan arc, where Wolverine has settled down with a wife and children.

Details are thin on the ground, but we do know for a fact that Patrick Stewart’s Professor X will be joining Jackman for another adventure, with other actors such as Richard E. Grant and Stephen Merchant in unconfirmed roles. But with a March 3rd 2017 release date confirmed, it’s only a matter of time before we see a teaser trailer of some kind.
