It’s been in production hell for years, but today brings good news for fans of Deadpool, because the first image of Ryan Reynolds, and the synopsis, have been released. Here’s the image:
Accompanying the image – which was tweeted today (Friday 27th March) by star Ryan Reynolds – was the first synopsis for the 2016 superhero film:
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
As you can see, details are scarce, but from what we know so far, I think that Deadpool will be a hit.
