Today, you have stumbled upon a new, (hopefully) fresh take on the film industry, thatfilmbloguk. As you may have guessed, I am a student who aspires to review and discuss films for a living, and there is no better way to get some practice than to set up a little blog. On this site, I will post reviews of the newest films in the cinema, and some retrospective series on some of my personal favourites. Other than just reviews, I will report all the latest goings-on in the world of motion picture, and provide you with opinion articles on matters directly affecting films and cinema culture. All feedback is welcome, and the more you can help me improve, the better. I look forward to starting what I hope to be a career in film journalism right now, and I’d love it if you all came along for the ride.
