For fans of the Taylor Sheridan universe, there are few prospects more exciting than the Landman season 3 release date. The next instalment of Sheridan’s tale of oil and the underworld was confirmed in late 2025. But almost one year on, fans are chomping at the bit for more news. While recent releases like Tulsa King and Dutton Ranch will tide fans by, there’s plenty of anticipation for the further adventures of Tommy Norris.

Landman Season 3 Release Date Countdown

There currently isn’t a Landman season 3 release date, though we can anticipate it to come out in the middle of 2027.

While it may be bad news for those already wanting the new season, it seems the worst of the wait is over. Production was initially supposed to get going in May 2026, but it was delayed to late September without any reason from Paramount. However, given the recent buyout of Warner Bros. to form Skydance, it’s likely that they’ll want to pump out one of their marquee franchises sooner rather than later.

The good news was confirmed by star James Jordan in an Instagram post in September, aptly captioned “Up n runnin’ and back after it!” to declare filming had begun. This season is also confirmed to have ten episodes, so production likely won’t take even longer to account for an addition increase in episode count.

Currently, Paramount and showrunner Taylor Sheridan have kept tight-lipped on where Landman season 3 will go. The previous season ended with Tommy forming a new oil company, CTT Oil Exploration and Cattle, and filling his team with long-term associates. It suggests a new dawn for more success – but crucially, a lot more challenge from competitors. We can expect more of the same industry politics and back-stabbing this season, but on a larger scale than ever.
