The 87th Academy Awards, or Oscars, are looming, and as expected, nominations have been fully released. Some media outlets are accusing this year’s nominations as predominantly white and male, and that, after the success of many cultures at last year’s awards, it is a step backwards. Today, I’ll be listing the nominees for each category, and saying who I predict will scoop the most coveted prizes when the awards ceremony takes place in February. Please note, in some of the categories I will have absolutely no idea who will win, so in that case I just won’t select a prediction so I don’t metaphorically fall on my face. Let’s get into it:
