With the BFI’s annual London Film Festival set to open to the public on Wednesday (7th October), now is the time to check the schedule and see which films are worthy of a watch. Today, we’ve got one that’s piqued our interest and will be reviewed upon its public release, and that film is Rose – A Love Story.

Directed by first-time director Jennifer Sheridan, this horror film promises to do something different within the genre. Here’s a synopsis and the trailer:

Gripped by a violent, terrifying illness, Rose lives in seclusion with her husband, but the arrival of a stranger shatters the fragile refuge they have built.

Rose: A Love Story premieres at the 2020 BFI London Film Festival on 13th October – expect a review out on that day!
