Fortunately, those four years were filmed heavily by the eight participants, so this documentary will bring that footage together while also getting the inside scoop on what life was like. Secret Mall Apartment had its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival in early 2024, and has screened at numerous festivals in the months since.
