Marvel fans got their first taste of Riri Williams in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This young girl from Chicago became that film’s incarnation of Iron Man, and has her own solo adventure on the way soon. Read on to learn the Ironheart release date.
When is the Ironheart Release Date?

As it stands, Ironheart has no release date after being removed from the MCU release schedule.
Previously, the show was due to come out on Disney+ in late 2023. Due to internal strategy changes within Marvel Studios, combined with the SAG-AFTRA strike last summer, it was pushed back indefinitely, with no release date to speak of right now.
That said, a covert listing on the United States Copyright Office website revealed a projected release date of September 3, 2025. That seems hugely far off, especially considering the first round of filming ended in November 2022. Barring any extensive reshoots needed to offset post-production for close to three years, we anticipate it to release at some point in 2024 instead.
Picking up an undisclosed amount of time after Wakanda Forever, Ironheart sees Riri Williams returning to her hometown of Chicago from MIT. Anthony Ramos plays her sidekick Parker Robbins, with Alden Ehrenreich and Sacha Baron Cohen also featuring.
Even if Ironheart doesn’t release in 2024, there’s still plenty of MCU television to look forward to. So far Disney has confirmed to shareholders that the following programmes are set to drop on the streaming service in 2024:
- Echo
- Agatha: Darkhold Diaries
- Eyes of Wakanda
- Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
- Marvel Zombies
So even if Ironheart doesn’t land in 2024 and does instead drop in 2025, there’s still an awful lot of TV to watch. It’s shaping up to be a comparatively quieter year for Marvel with just one MCU film releasing, so Ironheart may be a pick for the future instead.
