The Flash Post Credits Scene Explained

The post credits scene in The Flash takes place after the main events of the film, once Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) has collided with the multiverse and landed himself in a world where George Clooney is once again Batman. We don’t see the silver-haired iteration of Bruce Wayne again though, as Barry instead chats with Aquaman (played again by Jason Momoa).

After a night drinking, the two discuss how in all of the various realities Barry has explored, each one has the exact same version of Aquaman. Arthur Curry then stumbles into a puddle before remaining there for the night, as Barry wanders off across this alternate reality.

It isn’t a major game-changer, but instead acts as a little send-off to this form of the DCEU and its cast, given we’re expecting widespread recasting for the rebooted continuity. Nothing to tease a sequel here: just Flash and Barry quipping together, one last time.
